Get to know Debby

As a Board Certified Licensed Massage Therapist, Anatomy Trains® Structural Integrator, and a Thai massage practitioner and trainer, Debby offers a wide range of services to clients in her private practice in Charlotte, NC. As a NCBTMB approved provider, she created her Thai Yoga Massage with Acupoints training and have taught at various yoga studios in the U.S. and abroad.  Her other workshop is The Art of Assist in Yoga.

Debby’s career in the health and wellness field began as a yoga instructor in 2005. After receiving her massage license in 2011 she studied a mind-body style of acupressure at the Cayce Reilly School of Massage in Virginia and integrated acupressure with Thai massage. With a thirst to learn more in the areas of anatomy, movement and bodywork, Debby became certified in Anatomy Trains® Structural Integration, certified in Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) as well as attended various anatomy and movement-based trainings all over the country.

Currently, her clienteles are those who seek her for bodywork specifically Anatomy Trains Structural Integration or Thai bodywork for stretching and acupressure or spot treatment on myofascial tissue to address injuries or problem areas.  Yoga practitioners seek Debby for one-on-one private yoga instruction and/or attend her group yoga classes. She believes in structural Integrity as the essential part of balancing the body from dysfunctional and compensatory patterns. Debby brings attention to her students about their own bodies' movement patterns and alignment as she navigates them throughout their yoga practice.  Most clients initial visit starts with the SFMA assessment to pinpoint the areas of the body that requires attention. With her intuitive sense, years of movement and bodywork experience, and multiple trainings she acquired in the last decade from highly regarded institutions in the myofascial field, Debby is able to connect with her clients and successfully work with them to achieve their goals.
