In this workshop

ou will learn various ways to offer assistance to your students. During the training you will be practicing assists on fellow class participants while in an asana practice to mimic a live class setting.  You will build confidence and valuable skills to effectively assist your students in various postures - taking your teaching to a whole new level. 

Learn how to:

  • Introduce your assisting skills in a group setting
  • Safely assist students
  • Use assist to help your students become aware of their body and posture 
  • Match your own touch with verbal cueing  
  • Assist in a moving vinyasa flow
  • Use more than one way of assisting in a pose
  • Use other body parts other than your hands
You will receive a certificate of completion for 4 hours of CEUs if you are a registered Yoga Alliance yoga teacher.

Providing great assistance to your students will help deepen their practice and keeps them coming back to you for more.
